MY ARTIST STATEMENT

 

I hope to display my photography and express myself through this website.

A major influence for me in my life is my mom. She inspires me with her smile everyday- happy or sad, that smile never leaves her face. Thank you, mom, for all that you do and all the support you provide.

Learning how to work with film photography this year has been an entirely new experience- both challenging and fascinating at the same time. To think I did not know how to work a film camera in September, but by May I feel confident in my skills with the camera and in the darkroom. This year has been about experimentation, taking photos from new angle, and doing projects I never would have tried on my own. I hope the fun and creative projects/ styles I worked with this year can be seen throughout my website!
